Paper lace could be considered the big brother of the lace edges of paper doilies. Available at craft stores, this is fairly strong paper. You will find it rolled on a cardboard spool or in a flattened roll in a cellophane bag. It is usually available in white and pastel colors: blue, pink, yellow, maybe green. Check your local craft stores.

Use this paper to adorn scrapbook pages or decoupage projects. It is initially flat, but can be pleated on one edge to create a 3-D effect if desired. It could also be used on hand-made cards for your mother or grandmother, if you or she are frilly.
