I love paper. It is so fundamental to our existence, that its presence is only noticed in its absence. It records our thoughts and history. It carries our messages to others. It decorates our homes and lives.
The advent of the scrapbooking movement has brought a rush of beautiful figured papers to the market. As a lover of paper this is a most welcome event. I trust some of the demand for acid-free, lignin-free paper will provide paper artists with suitable material now and in the years to come.
